Devant “DJ” Jones enlisted in the Air Force as a young man in 2003. While serving, he completed both his Criminal Justice BS (American Military University) and his Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management MPA (Columbia Southern University). DJ climbed the leadership ladder from Squad Leader, Logistics Manager, Director of Nuclear Security & Emergency Management, Superintendent of Quality Assurance, and Managing Director of Law Enforcement before retiring in 2024.
After a service that included living in two international locations, DJ was looking for a civilian overseas opportunity that overlapped with the DOD but had the freedom of a contractor. Fusion Cell took in his decades of military management and security experience, matching him to a facilities manager position with a Prime Subcontractor. There, he managed 11 facilities and 14 SCIFS. DJ also led 219 facility upgrades, including 2 computer room air condition systems upgrades worth 10 million dollars.
About his experience working with Fusion Cell, he stated “One of the easiest processes for a job I have ever had. Very helpful throughout the entire process. I have already referred multiple personnel.”
